A native of Crystal River, Florida, Michael was raised in a very musical family, learning to play the bass guitar at the age of 17. Michael became bassist for the award-winning Florida A&M University (FAMU) Gospel Choir while pursuing his college degree in Electrical Engineering. Michael continues his music ministry as a bassist for several local churches. Michael's vision of putting together a group of gifted, spiritual musicians and performers is rooted in the humble beginnings of his first group Salvation Flyte in 1996 (Bill Moss and Devrick Bell are among the original members). After a couple of transitions (Including Flyte and Cross Connect), we now have what is De'Vine Soul today. Michael's vision is simple - providing a musical connection for the soul.
